i did register my maxis prepaid.. with the name Roy Keane... its actually go thru also :)

yes... u can use fake name to register... but whut happen if u lost ur sim card or ur phone stolen? i dunt think u can maintain ur OLD prepaid number...

even if you registered with your real name, once you lost your prepaid sim card, its gone! they cannot re-issue you with the same number.

Anyway this registration thingy will be difficult to implement. Lets say I go buy a sim card with my IC, then I sell it off. How can they ensure that the next person will register themselves?

yes u can.... just go to pay and get your new sim...

If im not mistaken.. I think Hotlink and DiGi can do it now but you need to show your reciept or proof of purchase of ur old starter pack.

if they going to implement this... they can ask u to fill up form to register... fail to register u cant topup.. this the easier way for them... register or lost ur prepaid number :wink:

Only Hotlink requires that IIANM.

My hp got stolen lastime, i then went to menara Maxis there to filled a form and payed RM20 , then i got a new Sim card and same old mobile number :D . But all contact numbers are gone.. :(

So.., now we need to register? Where.?? Website there or ?? I thought we had registered with Hotlink when we 1st got the starter pack..?? :?:
