Ok guys just a brief list of my observations after updating to ROM version i780DXHD1:-

1. Main change is to the "mouse". Click and hold on an icon will equal tap and hold hold with stylus. In certain circumstances this will bring up a pop up menu. Same as when you right click with your PC mouse. And when in mouse mode, point the cursor at a scroll bar and click and hold, the bar will keep on scrolling till the end.

2. In D-pad mode, when you run the length of your thumb (from the first joint to the tip) over the optical mouse and don't lift up your thumb, any list your are in will scroll between 4-6 lines depending how well and how smooth you swipe your thumb.

3. Overall, the speed performance of the phone seems to have improved. I noticed everything is just faster now.

4. Now you can see a battery icon indicating batt status at the top on the task bar (top right hand corner).

Well thats all that I can observe at the moment. Will let your guys know of any other improvements if and when I come across them. Cheers!

Step 2 - COM6: from the Output dropdown list is totally blank. No way to select. How ? Till now my GPS Map King no working at all. Thanks.

1. Exit Port Splitter.
2. Hold down the "GPS" keyboard button to reveal "Data Call Manager".
3. Click "Disconnect all" data call.
4. Launch Port Splitter.
5. Now you should see COM6: in the dropdown list.
I hav facing the problem too n i hav done the step as mentioned but seems there is unselectable from "Data Call Manager"so i cant click disconnect all,pls help.

Did you try to restart your mobile or terminate Port Splitter program? It works for me.

Simon.
Yes,i did terminate Port Splitter but it still the same, did i hav to restart always my device ?,but sometimes not worked or missing of COM6.

Got wash hands or not

So, is it DXHD1 or DXHC1 now? Looks like I should get mine updated soon too. Only problem, I live too far away from USJ. Does Low Yat service centre do the upgrade too?

Called FMG and Samsung. FMG's current version is DXHD1, however, Samsung themselves say, DXHC1 is current version. DXHD1 still under testing by Samsung Malaysia, official release of that ROM will be soon, but not yet. Those who want DXHD1, have to go to FMG for upgrade. If you go to Samsung themselves, you will get DXHC1. For me, since FMG only open weekdays, I'll wait until official release, then go on Saturday to Samsung PJ.

there is a FMG sticker on the battery and behind the phone which contains the serial number that links to the phone warranty
